Giant spiders, skull-walkers, a giant ox-looking thing, tentacles and possibly some sort of tree monster are all over the place. And the basic theme articulated in both this movie and Evans’ GodzillaMother Earth doesn’t belong to us, and She can shake us off like a bad case of fleas if we get too uppityisn’t enough for the filmmakers, either. are releasing Kong: Skull Island Maand as the poster hints. ![]() And the monsters-oh, the monsters-are littered, literally, everywhere. Thing is, though, Kong: Skull Island seems uncomfortable with being pure childish fun. Director director Jordan Vogt-Roberts unveiled the Japanese poster for his film. Flames silhouette what we can likely assume are the military group exploring Skull Island, with a couple of natives holding spears above the flame. Kong is placed top center, crushing a fiery helicopter and baring those giant nasty teeth.
